Our terms and conditions apply to all transactions on the Additions Direct website and are set out below. Please read through these carefully before placing your order and then print a copy for future reference. Please also read our Privacy Policy section regarding personal information provided by you.

1. We may change these terms from time to time without notice to you. Changes will apply to any subsequent orders received.
2. We will notify you by email as soon as possible to confirm receipt of your order and send you a further email to confirm your order details. Please note that neither email is acceptance of your order. Our acceptance of your order will take place when we dispatch the product(s) to you.
3. Delivery can only be made to mainland UK. All goods must be signed for by an adult aged 18 years or over on delivery.
4. Delivery charges and estimated timescales are specified in the Delivery section. We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, however delays are occasionally inevitable. We shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within the estimated timescales.
5. All items are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply the goods, we will inform you of this as soon as possible. A refund will be given where you have already paid for the goods.
6. Where your order relates to: a. the sale of knives or bladed articles or liqueur chocolates, you confirm that you are over 16
b. the sale of classified videos or computer games, you confirm that you are over the age classified by the item c. the sale of alcohol, you confirm that you are over the age of 18
7. We try to ensure that the prices quoted are correct and that all products are accurately described on this website. However, orders will only be accepted if there are no material errors in the description or price of goods displayed on this website. If we discover an error in the price or description of goods that you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order based on the correct price or description, or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat your order as cancelled.
8. All reductions in price and/or credit terms are reductions against our own previous prices and terms unless otherwise indicated.
9. Payment can be made by any method specified in the Payment section. We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but, unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you.
10. Where payment is made by debit or credit card (including payments made in respect of outstanding balances) Card Handling Limited will retain 2.5% of this amount for handling services it provides to the customer. The remaining amount will be paid to brand for goods and/or services it supplies to the customer.
11. We do file details of your order. Please read our Privacy Policy for details of how these can be obtained.
12. We offer a 14 day approval guarantee. Please refer to that section for details of the terms and conditions applicable. Some products are excluded from the guarantee and are clearly marked as such next to the product name. In the unlikely event that you receive faulty or damaged goods, please refer to our Returns section.
13. Sometimes the product specifications from the manufacturer may change, in which case we will do our best to offer you a substitute of the same or better quality at the same price. If you are not happy with the replacement you can return it in accordance with our 14 day approval guarantee. Where applicable, you may cancel your order in accordance with your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations (see the Customer Service Charter page for further details) and we will collect

15. We've selected our products on the basis that they will be used for domestic use only and we will not be liable for any loss resulting from the commercial use of our products.
16. The contract between us shall be governed by the laws of England and any dispute between us will fall exclusively under the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. English is the only language offered for the conclusion of the contract.

If you shop using the Additions Direct Catalogue We own the catalogue until you complete your first order (which must be for at least £8) after which it becomes yours. Whilst we own the catalogue, you must return it to us if we ask for it. The catalogue costs £4 and this is set off against the cost of your first order. For example if your first order is for £100, we will add the £4 cost of the catalogue to your order, but we will reduce the total cost of your order by £4, so you need only pay £100 for your first order. Once the catalogue has reached the end of the season, you may dispose of it.

    In the unlikely event of unauthorised use of your credit or debit card you must notify your card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures. The majority of banks and card issuers either cover all the charges that result from unauthorised use of your credit or debit card, or limit your liability to £50.
    However if your bank or card issuer tries to hold you liable, we will cover your liability up to £50, provided that the unauthorised use of your credit or debit card resulted from you using the card to make purchases from the www.additionsdirect.co.uk secure environment and not through any negligence by yourself.

    This guarantee covers a maximum liability of £50. In the event of unauthorised use of your credit or debit card, you must notify your card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.
