Delivering the goods We give you a range of home delivery options - so you can enjoy more choice.
Standard Delivery If you decide not to use our Next Day or Specified Day services, place your internet order before 10am and most small items will be delivered FREE within 48 hours.* Subject to stock and courier availability. Please note that some items are delivered direct from our supplier and may take longer to arrive. We will inform you of this when you place your order.
Approval and Returns We want you to feel completely confident when you buy from us. For most items you can return what you buy to us in new condition and in the original packaging within 14 days of delivery. In the event that you are not, simply return your purchase to us, in as-new condition and in the original packaging within 14 days of receiving it.

Certain items are excluded from our 14 day approval policy as follows:

  • Non-returnable under our 14 day approval policy: Personalised items, foodstuffs, hampers, wines, spirits, beers and other perishable items e.g. flowers, and for hygiene reasons, jewellery which pierces the skin. PC's, once installed, are also non-returnable. •
  • Non-returnable once the seal has been broken or removed: Audio and video recordings (on DVD, CD and tape) and computer software where the product seal has been broken or removed. Personal care products once opened and unsealed cosmetics and fragrances •
  • Non-returnable unless you notify us within 7 working days of purchase: PCs and PC packages, motorised scooters, camcorders, digital cameras, mobile phones, sunglasses, heating appliances, cycles, luggage, camping and Christmas decorations. You can return these by exercising your statutory right to cancel your order. •
  • Non-returnable once connected: This applies to white goods. •
  • Non-returnable once installed: PC's, electric showers, fires and surrounds and TV packages •
  • Non-returnable once assembled: Furniture, nursery, sheds, frame beds and home fitness •
  • All other non-returnable items: Curtains - non-returnable once fitting cords are pulled
    Carpets - non-returnable once they are cut to fit
    Blinds - non-returnable once they are trimmed to fit
    Mattresses/divan beds - non-returnable once the protective covers are removed
    Shower screens - non-returnable unless returned in original packaging
    Lighting - non-returnable once fitted or used
    Sale Leaflets - where indicated, sale items are excluded from the Approval Guarantee.

    None of the above affects your statutory rights. Our approval policy is also in addition to your statutory right to cancel your order, referred to above. See our customer service charter for full details.

    Goods Excluded from the 14 Day approval Policy
    As stated above, certain products are excluded from our 14 day approval Policy and cannot be returned to us. This applies to personalised items, foodstuffs, hampers, wines, spirits, beers and other perishable items such as flowers; for hygiene reasons jewellery which pierces the skin, personal care products once opened and unsealed cosmetics and fragrances. In addition, audio or video recordings (on DVD, CD and Tape) and computer software where the seal is broken or removed and PC's once installed.

    We regret that in the event you return such perishable items to us, they will be destroyed but will remain on your account. If you return any of the non-perishable items described above, they will be sent back to you and will remain charged to your account. We reserve the right to make a charge of £4.95 to your account to cover the extra handling and postage costs we incur.

    PC's (prior to installation), PC Packages, Motorised Scooters, Camcorders and Digital Cameras are all excluded from the 14 day approval Policy but may be returned within 7 working days of receipt under Distance Selling Regulations. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

    Goods returned after the expiry of the 14 day approval period
    If you do not want to keep what you have ordered, we may, at our discretion, accept goods returned to us after the expiry of the 14 day approval Period. However, we reserve the right to make an administration charge for such returns. The charge is £4.95 per parcel (for smaller items) and £12.95 for larger goods (such as furniture, beds or electrical appliances). Your statutory rights are unaffected.

    Unjustified Returns
    We do reserve the right to send goods back to you if they are not as new, not in the original packaging or if you have made a mistake with the returned items. A charge of £4.95 per item will also be added to your account to cover the extra handling and postage costs we incur. This does not affect your statutory rights.

    Goods not received
    Claims in relation to goods charged but not received should be made within 90 days of the statement charge. Failure to do so may affect your claim.
