Customer Service
All products sold on the Robert Dyas website receive a minimum 12 months warranty. Many have longer warranties, which are indicated in the product descriptions (this does not affect your statutory rights).
Customers have the right to cancel their order within seven working days without a reason. The seven days must start from the day after the goods are received by the customer.
When you first receive your product it is important you check the packaging is not damaged; if it is, you should note this fact clearly on the delivery note the carrier asks you to sign.
Upon unpacking your product, try to preserve the packaging until you are happy that all is in order, and check all parts off against the contents list, where applicable.

Pricing
All prices are correct at time of publication. Prices include VAT at 17.5% and exclude delivery charge unless otherwise stated.

Returning or Cancelling Goods
To make the returning of goods easier for our customers, you may take any unwanted goods back to any Robert Dyas store. Please see our store locator to find your nearest store. If you choose not to take your goods back to a store, we will arrange for the goods to be collected, but customers are required to be in to hand goods to our carrier.
Returns are free of charge and should be made within 7 days of goods being received. Returned goods should be unused and in their original packaging, unless they are faulty.
You have a statutory right to cancel your order by telephoning or emailing a cancellation request up to and including the 7 th day (excluding weekends and public holidays) after the date which you receive your item and receive a full refund for any item purchased. Any items returned must be unused and in their original packaging. You can return your goods to any Robert Dyas store or we will arrange for the goods to be collected by our carrier.

Delivery Promise

  • All standard goods that are ordered from our Home Shopping service and are in stock will be delivered within 7 days. Standard delivery is charged at £4 per order
  • Garden furniture sets, Awnings and selected bulky items will incur a premium delivery charge of £15 which will be added to your order at the checkout. On these products we provide next day delivery unless specified otherwise
    If you have provided us with your email address, as soon as your order is ready for dispatch, we will send you a confirmatory email.

    Deliveries are made by City Link (http://www.city-link.co.uk) and drivers will attempt the delivery twice, on successive days whenever possible. In the event that you are not home at the time of the delivery, a card will be left. You can then either wait for the second delivery attempt or phone the City Link number to make an arrangement to collect from their local depot at a convenient time.

    The City Link local depot number will be detailed on the card that is left by the driver.

    If we are still unable to make a successful delivery after two attempts, your order will be returned to our warehouse. You can then request the order to be re-delivered but this will incur an extra delivery cost unless the delivery error is due to failure on the part of Robert Dyas or City Link, in which case Robert Dyas will re-deliver free of charge.

    In certain circumstances, such as traffic accidents or extreme weather conditions or unforeseen technical problems, we may be unable to fulfill your delivery in accordance with these terms. For such exceptions, we may require additional time and effort to fulfill the delivery. We will then either re-deliver your order or you may opt to receive a full refund.

    Our delivery promise to you is to do our utmost to ensure that you receive the items you have purchased as soon as possible within the 7 day guarantee period. In many cases we are able to process and dispatch orders overnight. It is our intention to exceed expectations whenever possible.

    General terms of delivery

    We deliver to all mainland UK addresses
  • Delivery times apply only to products in stock
  • In cases of items being out of stock, we will deliver as soon as new stock arrives
  • Our couriers work throughout the day, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) so your order may arrive any time between 9.00am and 5.30pm - all deliveries must be signed for
  • Products may be dispatched from several locations and may therefore arrive separately - you will not incur additional delivery charges under these circumstances.
  • For security reasons we cannot deliver to a BFPO address
  • We reserve the right not to deliver orders if we believe the address is not secure, for example, to communal postal address or a PO BOX - if this affects an order you place, we will notify you as soon as possible We do not deliver to the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland.

    Offensive Weapons Act
    Under this Act, it is an offence to sell knives or knife blades to persons under the age of 16. These products are only available for customers aged 16 or over. Customers should not order these items for persons under16.
