Power Boating Experience

A fun packed introduction to the exciting sport of Power boating. The full day experience varies slightly at each centre but will start with a briefing on land before learning slow speed handling skills in sheltered water. In the afternoon, you'll be picking up speed and taking on the thrill of handling these power machines in more open water. After being kitted out with buoyancy aids and waterproof outer clothing, you will be given a demonstration of the controls etc and then hands on experience of driving the boat. Then you're in for some high speed thrills and skills when you take the boat out into more open water, in some instances out to sea! Return at the end of a fun day with a great sense of achievement. Each centre offers a slightly different agenda, so check when booking.Need to know:Minimum age 12-16 depending on location (under 18s need parental/guardian consent)You should be in reasonable health and agile enough to climb into the boat. Heart related conditions and some other illnesses may prohibit participation. Not suitable for people with back problems.
